Brian Newberger caught this big blue cat between the locks on the Cape Fear River. A whoping 73 lbs!!
He has been fishing in the river since 1978 from Linden to the North Carolina coast. He now has his own guide service with a 20 foot Pontoon boat with cover and all of the fishing accessories that you might need!
Brian Newberger is the state record holder for Flathead– 78lbs. His biggest blue is 86lbs.**
